Ethiopia. Karlheinz Böhm, famous Austrian actor who turned to be a powerful activist, has died at the age of 86 after several years of illness. He has been the role model of a person who dedicated his fame to people who are not born on the sunny side of life. In 1981 he founded Menschen für Menschen - Humans for Humans - and helped more than 5 million women and men, children and elderly in Ethiopia to build a better future. He has been the longtime mentor of Beate Wedekind, founder of TheNewAfrica, and has encouraged her to work for the young generation of Africans who want to bring their communities, their countries and their continent forward.
